Suburban Whitetail Management of Maryland Inc. (SWMM) is a Corporation whose goal is to help local landowners, communities and governments deal with whitetail deer overpopulation problems is a safe, natural and humane manner. SWMM is based on similar whitetail deer management groups around the nation and is designed to act as a management “tool” for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Heritage Service and various county Parks Departments deer management goals. SWMM intends to further the positive image of hunting and those who participate by educating the non-hunting public as well as the general public about the hunter’s role in wildlife management.
